Scouts Consider Lifting Ban on Homosexuals

Despite the Scout Oath for boys to be “morally straight”, the National Executive Committee of the Boy Scouts of America are proposing a motion to allow openly homosexual boys to join the Scouts for the first time in their history.

This resolution will be voted on by their 1400 voting members during their 2013 National Annual Meeting being held May 22-24 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

Whether you are a past Scout member, have children or grandchildren or other relatives in the Scouts, or are concerned by this erosion of values being espoused by the National Executive Committee it is critical to contact the local Scouting chapter in your area.
